Sony A9 III lots available used

I'm always window shopping on used dealers like KEH. I'm surprised at how many A9IIIs are available. If an A1II comes up for resale, it gets snatched up super quick. Are these cameras coming out of the "press pools" that aren't getting used, or did people buy them and have issues? not like the higher base ISO? not like the 24mp? what gives?

I doubt it’s the base ISO. I have never had the slightest problem with it.

I wonder if it’s people who bought one, then replaced it with an A1 II when that came out? Or maybe they bought one thinking there would be high demand so they void sell it at a premium? (That happened with the A1 II, but not the A9 III).

Are they being offered at a serious discount to new?

I agree with Richard - there is cause to wonder why someone would sell one when it’s not even 2 years old? I admit I am coming close to clocking up a half million shots on mine, but it’s not like there is a physical shutter to wear out.
