Nice shots, though I hear the neighbors are not too happy about the hordes descending on their neighborhood to see it. (I wouldn't be happy either if it was my neighborhood).

I didn't hear anything negative from neighbors. I heard it has been moving around and not staying at the same house.

I hope that is the case. I just found a news clip and while it was not negative, it showed the entire street and sidewalk blocked by birdwatchers. I would not want my home and street blocked with crowds like that. A relative of mine who lives in southern California (but has not gone himself) reports that residents have called police due to blocked driveways, trampled lawns, etc.

Very well done! My favorite is the 4th shot.
The 4th is my favorite too (as of now). I have 1500 images to sort through. Thanks for the feedback!

I did see the police there today so maybe someone called. Everyone was quiet and peaceful. No cars, no traffic...Most were setup where cars would park and it didn't block anything. I think once the local news reported it everyone "flocked" to see t. One birder drove down from San Francisco. I drove 75 miles one way and glad I did.

Super set and a bird I would love to photograph but would have to travel probably to Canada to get them in the snow and its a long way to go from the UK with no guarantees.

Excellent! I saw this story on the news here in Detroit. A few years ago, we had a Roseate Spoonbill show up here in SE Michigan, the first sighting ever. It was fortunately (for me) holding court in the next town over, so I had an opportunity to photograph it. Unfortunately (for me) the two times I saw it I couldn't get any closer than two football fields away.
