My Introduction

Hello, my name is Kristiyan.
I am from Bulgaria.

I am a HOBBYIST photographer, i am NOT A PRO. Regardless of that, i am trying to advance in my skill, knowledge and understanding, which are not low by any stretch of the imagination, and i have developed my own workflow based on 10 bit .heif, color sub sampling 4:2:2 while using my Alpha 6700 before it got stolen.

Is long since i shoot by phone and with Sony Alpha 6700, however, my Sony got stolen, and there is no hope of seeing it back. Now I am chasing after Sony Alpha 7 V and FE 28 - 70mm, f/2.0, GM and FE 50 - 150mm, f/2.0, GM. After my own research i have the impression this camera and lenses fit my way of shooting best.

what i respect and appreciate:
Real helpful posts, explaining the problem and it solution in an easy to understand way for the receiving person.
Any advice on gear, technique, accessories, skills is welcome.

The genre I like to shoot the most is:
Nighttime, Low Light, Blue hour, long exposures including tails, light painting, interplay between water and light
Day time water, long exposure

I am aware of how ISO and Noise works, base ISO, Aperture and dept of field, shutter speed and motion blur.
I am well adept to use ND filters including graduated ND filters, CPL filters, stacking them and relate them to ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed
I am well adept to use electronic and mechanical shutter, rollign shutter and Global shutter sensors. Basiically the basics are covered.

What don't respect and i don't appreciate:
Aggressive behavior
Vulgarity and profanity
Violence threats
Gatekeeping
Mockery
Humiliation
Gaslighting
Elitism
Entitled mindset
Perception or Impression of gatekeeping
Creating difficulties and placing difficulties before answer is received
Asking excessive amount of questions to entertain your curiosity
Misleading or wrong answers
Long garbage posts - post full of garbage, not saying anything useful
Pushing to sell. Don't come to say i can sell you this. If i want to buy, i will ask my local Sony Store or other established photo stores including used gear stores in Bulgaria.

Going to set some expectations for you. We are hobbyists, we are here to have fun. We can be helpful but we may not have an understanding of what you are looking for or even have an answer. This is also photography and there can be many ways of doing the same thing which doesn't make them wrong.

This forum is mostly light-hearted and fun. Many of us are hobbyists too, so sometimes we get the answers wrong without intentionally misleading each other.
Of your list of dislikes, the one thing I can say we don't have a lot of is "pushing to sell" because our forum owner does a good job of removing those posts and we have the ability to report posts that violate forum rules.
