Thanks Tim I had a few more but they were only okay for my folders but I got 15 new birds just in my region for the year.
Many have told me the last shot is one of the most difficult birds to get. Normally if they see you which is the usual way they are off before you get a chance to get a shot off. But this one wasn't like that it done a few hop's stopped looked and me and done it again and about 5 times before it was too far off.
The fella that runs our local birding club told me this is unheard of and I was so lucky to get one shot let alone over 40 shots of it. And the Mallee Fowl which is also endangered was at the nest and that was a day I will never forget. Truly a great bird to get.
