New Sony user

New Sony user. Just bought an a7v after selling my Nikon Z8. Nikon is a great camera but it’s just too heavy to lug around. Can’t wait to start using my new camera. The quick shots that I have taken are great. I am an experienced enthusiast with no plans to do photography professionally. Look toward to the group

Welcome Joe, I too moved over to Sony from Nikon due to weight and shoulder issues.

My most used lens, 600 f4.

I am a lifelong Nikon user who is now also enjoying Sony gear. I kept my Z8 - Nikkor makes wonderful lenses - but must admit the Nikon menu system makes no sense next to the Sony menus...
