Hi Everyone im new to sony i was a devoted cannon user but sold it all 3 years ago but missed the camera so im starting again but with Sony A6700 any advice and tips welcome

What lens/es are you taking with you? the kit lens is sufficient unless you want to take pictures in low light or inside museums/buildings.

Yeah im taking the kit lens.
 
These pictures have had some editing and converted to jpeg to upload. Not home for another week so no computer to do them justice I'll put some more on when home unedited.

Oh yeah I managed to pick up 70-200 GM ll
 
THe Alpha 6700 is a powerhouse in APS-C format. I had it before it got stolen from me.
Give it good lenses. also you can use Full Frame lenses on this beast, but you must pay attention to the crop factor 1,5x and adjust focus distance accordingly. For example using a 100 mm full frame lens onthe APS-C camera you must account for te crop factor 1,5x
100x1.5 you will have equivalent of 150mm
