This older Bald Eagle had been attacked by two others. It was resting here when I saw it.
Later, those other Bald Eagles came back and hurt it so badly it could not fly. Some local birders knew to call OWL, who told them how to assess the bird.
The latest I've heard is that OWL came and rescued the poor bird and took it to rehabilitate and eventually release it.
