What do you think of making that photo a contrasty black and white, might make it draw out more emotion from the viewer by creating a dark brooding scene.

What do you think of making that photo a contrasty black and white, might make it draw out more emotion from the viewer by creating a dark brooding scene.
So, that is an interesting idea and I made the adjustment. What do you think of this? I darkened it a bit to take out some shiney aspects of the rock. In the future, I will consider this option under the right circumstances. I just might prefer this over the original. Thanks.

I like it a lot!!! I am a B&W fan, maybe because that’s what I started with years ago. It was just so much easier to do B&W in the darkroom. I agree that under the right circumstances B&W adds emotion to a photo. In my opinion, it’s the foundation of our art. I really do like this photo in B&W!!!
