One View when posted

When you make a thread and you post it.
No sooner have you posted it there is right away 1 view.
Why does this false 1 view come up when you know for a fact no one has had the chance to view what you have just posted.
So can anyone let me know why this happens as I am only curious to why this happens.

I am not sure about that as I go to NEW To Forum and the number is there and I have not looked at it. I thin did go to see who did and there is no name there. So you could be right with what you have said as you looked at it as you posted it.

I'm guessing it's just your own view Ralph as when you post a thread you effectively view it at the same time. The view counts should only be from members and guests, bots are excluded.

Thanks Timothy as this is what I was starting to believe as well. Glad it is all sorted now. I just had to ask about it and that was all.
