Out of Warranty 70-200 GM needs minor repair

I need to get some minor repair work done on a Sony Out of Warranty 70-200 GM lens.

Does anyone have recommendations on where to get this done?

Maybe, I haven't rattled their cage yet...

They use a 3rd party for out of warranty lens repairs and the base price for repair is $600...

Edit: Does anyone have any experience with Video One Repair in SoCal? That are about half the price of Sony's base price and quoted turnaround is very quick...

Their yelp reviews are spectacular...

Wow, a valuable resource and one that I had not considered, in in California as well. Two day ground shipping for me. I just hope I never have to use them.
