Your Photo of the Week

Week 41. Definitely one of my favourite tits, the long tailed one! I've not seen any in the garden where we are currently living but popped back to the old garden today and there were still a few about. Although I missed a nice shot of a great spotted woodpecker which was a little disappointing.

Nice one Tim. Super little birds.

They certainly are Kev. It will be interesting to see what birds turn up in our new garden. I've not been putting too much food out where we are now as didn't want them to become reliant on me feeding them and then we move out.

Yep. We are seeing new species even now, after 6 months. We are hoping that the Great Spotted Woodpecker nests in our Ash Tree. He's been looking.

Fingers crossed Kev! We want to make a bit more of an effort with the new place to create a wildlife friendly garden. Thankfully Frank has grown out of destroying everything we plant so that should make things a little easier!

Yes we are working on that now, lots of visitors anyway, but we have a butterfly garden planned next.

Week 42. A little nuthatch just about to munch on a juicy fat ball.

Week 12. Pied Wagtail on our bungalow roof today. We've had a pair visiting this week, which is unusual. In the past they have only ever appeared when it's snowed a lot.

Congrats on the new a7R IV Vic and your first shots! :) This thread is actually for our 52 week challenge, so members try to post a photo each week for 52 weeks. So your photos might be better placed in the a7R Forum or the Open Talk Forum. You are of course welcome to join in with the challenge here too!

Maybe the snow is on the way Kev! :) I hope not though, as we are finally moving into the new place later this week, but if it snows much there access will quickly become challenging. We heard a curlew when we were there yesterday, couldn't see it though.

I think we are done with Snow, but you never know in April! Hope the move goes smoothly, now it's finally happening! Enjoy Bungalow life :D

Week 13. Fabulous Drake Garganey. This is the first time I've been able to shoot these amazing migrants birds, and I've only ever seen one once before too. Beautiful dabbling ducks.

My youngest boy. He insisted on "helping" me as I was checking through images. He is looking at his reflection in the lens.

Well, I only have 2 from the Sony this time. I got a new Sigma 150-600 with the MC-11 and I was testing it out. I know that they aren't from the Sony, but I will include a couple of drone shots from last night as well.

Is the second one an HDR Photo?

My first attempts at Panoramas. The first from a Tripod and a Nodal Rail, the second one shot from a hand hold.

Are these multiple shots stiched together?

Not bad at all! What focal length did you use?

Are these multiple shots stiched together?
Yes, they are. They are 3 or 4 shots each with the camera turned 90 degrees. I then used Lightroom to stitch them together.
