Finally got to week 52! :) Here's a young female green woodpecker searching for ants. Unfortunately shot through the window again!

that is one ugly so and so Kev
If in fact, that is a jumping spider, I would NOT be happy about finding one in my living room!

Nah they are cute!

Haha, they are tiny Jeff, and harmless. Honestly, he's about 10mm long at most, and they hop and jerk about, but the jumping thing is amazing. They actually fire a long line of silk, like Spiderman, and zoom off on it.

Whatever blows your dress up Kev. Myself, I have a Pest Control contract.

Week 51. Our second little boy Joseph (unless we change our minds!) was thankfully born healthy at 12:50am last Friday morning. Probably the latest I've been up in a long while! Watching your partner give birth definitely makes you appreciate being male, we have it far too easy! He's barely opened his eyes since he was born. He seems to like sleep so far, but I don't expect this is going to last.

Such a cutie. I'm trying to convince myself the one in our garden is a mouse but it looks a lot more like a rat!!

Always a challenging find. Only the second one I've ever photographed.
Great shot, that’s 2 more than I’ve even seen!

Week 29. An Iron Prominent moth from my trap last night. Moths are amazingly varied.

A shot from our current trip to Norway just a couple days ago. Stunningly beautiful country. A small part of the national park Jontunheimen in the image below.

Awesome find Peter. Would love to just hear one let alone see it and grab a nice photo. I know there's one or two close to where we are living since someone in our local wildlife group posted a video of them calling recently.

Week 30. Buff Tip Caterpillar on my arbor last night. Hopefully I will get the moth in my trap, they are fantastic.

Lovely Kev. I really need to find time to shoot some butterflies before the winter arrives. Two little kids are definitely more work than one!
