A big thanks to everyone who joined in with the holidays and celebrations photography challenge last month!

So for this month (January 2021) the challenge is reflections. These may be reflections in water, windows or mirrors etc...

This is not a competition so there will be no winners announced, it's purely for fun and self-development.

Simple Rules:
  • Sony cameras only please
  • Post as many times as you would like
Have fun!

I think this was my favorite picture featuring a reflection taken before the Coronapocalypse in Japan with the a6400 and 18-135mm kit lens.

Snake River on a cold fall day. If you look close...there be Geese in this photo, which was what I was looking at, not looking at the reflection. :)

Two headed duck. I wish the water was clean, I should go in and PS out all the algae and junk to clean this up...but I'm a lazy editor. :)

The other day the lake was partly iced-over, but by the time I got around to photographing, it had begun to melt in places. Even so, there were a lot of ice floes for the geese to try and navigate! Ever see a goose walking on water? (Ice just beneath him)

Awesome pic! I took a pic of the same temple in June of 2019 when I went to Japan with my Stepdad! I won’t post my pic, it was before I owned a Sony and was taken with my Nikon P900.

Last chance for the month, thought of this thread when I took this shot at the beach. Very cropped in edit, but I love the effect of the

in the sunglasses.
