Deals Price drop on Sony a7iv? I'm not seeing it

I came across this video but it must have been a temporary thing as most of the prices from reputable places I've seen online are still in the $2400-$2600 range. Anybody have an insight or know of deals? I'd itching to buy one but if they're going to drop in price I can afford to be patient.

Looks like that was posted before the tariffs hit. The A7V is rumored to be released before the year is out, so you might still see some price drops on the IV. If you are not in a rush I'd wait a little longer, $2700 is a lot to pay for a 4 year old camera. Sony often runs discounts on their older camera gear and lenses, so even without the A7V I'd expect to see some discounts before the year is out.

Thanks. It's possible it's tariff-related, but I've been (casually) watching the prices since before that video was released and I never saw a price drop. If I had, I probably would have jumped on it. I've also been checking during periods when stores & sellers generally have sales, like Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Cyber Monday, etc. Maybe I just missed the deals, but I haven't seen any.
