These are the images of the puffball fungi that I found and photographed with my new A7v and my Sigma Art 105 macro lens for the first image and my Tamron 50-400mm for the second.

The new articulated screen on the Sony A7v , its a game changer for this low down macro photography for me.

Nestled in a bed of moss, these puffball fungi stand like woodland sentinels, each one a tiny marvel revealed by getting low to the forest floor. The new articulated screen on the Sony A7V made capturing this hidden scene a true pleasure.

A cluster of spent puffballs, their earthy shells scattered with fallen leaves, nature’s quiet reminder of the cycles unfolding beneath our feet. This was a particualry dark section of the woodland and the new monitors resolution and clarity was wonderful.
