Had one take our entire sandwich box when I wasn't watching carefully enough, luckily didn't get too far with it. Another one stole a biscuit out of our sons hand. Certainly not my favourite bird!

Interesting fact, that's why seabirds often have black wing tips. Black feathers wear at a slower rate than white ones.

The seagulls were swooping down and chasing the mergansers for the tiny fish they were catching.
This was happening below a wall of fog just around dawn. The light was very strange.
