Sigma 14mm F1.4 DG DN Art Lens Announced

Sigma has announced the Sigma 14mm F1.4 DG DN | Art lens, which according to Sigma is the world’s first 14mm F1.4 aperture lens for mirrorless cameras.

In the US the lens will cost $1,599.00 or £1399.99 in the UK. It should start shipping in late June 2023.

its a whopper great astro lens for me to purchase i would need to be really dedicated to astro and the uk is not the best for this ,the sony is a lot lighter same price but a 2/3 of stop light gathering advantage to sigma ,for me i am planning on the viltrox 16mm f1.8 which also gets good reviews best budget w/a and 1/3 of the price and takes screw in front filters with out weighing a ton could be the bargain of the year.

It’s heavy. I have Sony 14mm F1.8 so I would have to weigh up whether the difference in aperture is worth the bother.

Plus, I think the bokeh is broken on my copy.
