Thanks and it is. I need to get back down there really. Need to do some birds in flight practice down there.
 
Thanks for the beautiful pictures. I have a simple question: how do you adjust the camera’s exposure when photographing waterfowl swimming on bright summer days? I’ve noticed that the sensor’s dynamic range often isn’t enough to accurately expose the bird without overexposing the water.
 
Thanks for your reply. I find that my A7R5's metering is pretty good and it has a wide dynamic range. If I am worried about over exposure I will scan the area using Zebras to adjust the exposure. Otherwise I often use Highlight metering, often with + 1 stop exposure compensation to stop it under exposing too much.
