FE mount lens will connect to A7iii perfectly.

That lens might work well for a large group in good artificial lighting. For bride and groom photographs a 50mm, or 85mm lens with around F2.4 aperture would be more appropriate so you don’t have to get really close to them to take the photo.

The Tamron 17-28/2.8 is superior and is less money. But Gaz is correct, you may want something with a narrower FOV.

With additional lenses or by itself? What’s the maximum iso you are comfortable using? Are you adding flash or is this going to be used only in available “gloom”?
