Sophisticated Lady from Germany

[Trisha]

Hello to everyone,

My name is Patricia, but I'm mainly known as Trisha because of my mixed German and Thai heritage, so I took the short name I'm used to since early childhood. I'm from Germany and now live in Lower Saxony in Northern Germany. Some of you might know me from the Sony Alpha Forum, where I registered five years ago and got pretty well-known meanwhile. However, sometimes it can be interesting or even helpful to get other opinions from other people than the usual ones all the time, so I decided to register here in addition. It will take some time to get used to the different structure here, but I'm not in a hurry, and I will not be able to post each of the more than 3000 photos already posted there anyway. One reason is that photos are mainly posted in participatory topics similar to the themed threads here, but those are still just a few in this forum.

It's nice and interesting for me to see what happens in an international board. I also know the forum by Fred Miranda, but as the vast majority of people are from the US, so are the subjects. Hence, I can only participate infrequently in that forum.

Before I bought my Sony Alpha 7III in July 2021, I only had compact cameras with fixed lenses. Meanwhile, I took more photos with my Sony A7III than with these older cameras in total.

Hoping for a cultivated discussion, best regards
Trisha

Willkommen!
I like this forum more than the Facebook groups, even though there is less participation, I think there is the potential for more thoughtful discussion here.
