Hiya, you will need to turn the live view evf off in the studio. What focussing mode are you using? For most people shots I use eye AF with AFC, if this is not suitable I'll use single point AFS. I have shutter button focussing turned off, focussing set to AF button and eye AF set to AEL button, this gives me a lot of flexibility with focussing as I can switch from one to the other just by moving my thumb. Autofocus in the studio is very fast when it's set right.
