I ordered one to use with one of my a1's which I mostly use for landscape or macro stuff.
I wanted to use the camera in portrait as well as landscape mode on my tripod.
Anyway, I'd read that this item will fit.
It does.
I haven't been out with it yet but have fitted it to the camera, tried it on the tripod and it will certainly suffice for my needs.
Cost was £72 on Amazon UK.
Just in case anyone is looking for such an item.
