Sounds like a good alternative to the sony 12-24mm f2.8 ,for me at least tamron are sort of hit and miss sometimes they excel the 35-150mm f2-2.8 is a good example of a hit , i also liked the 17-28mm f2.8 i owned , shame it is rear filters only , aperture ring is a nice touch as is size by the leaked images .release is 15th of july
