The Calgary Philharmonic allows photos.

The 300 mm f/2.8 GM mounted on the A1 II fits into a Peak Design Daily Messenger V1.

Here’s what happened (all taken from the back of the Jack Singer Concert Hall, Calgary, AB, Canada)

I picked this up at a great price because it is the version 1 of the Peak Design Daily Messenger. I understand that the later versions are a bit smaller. Even this one was tight, but it worked really well. It’s actually a better fit without the soft lens cover, and when I get over the new lens jitters, I may stop using it.

This doesn’t look like much, but then, that’s the point isn’t it?

Good shots!

I just wanted to ask a question about that very first shot (I think it's a double bass?) - the string closest to his head seems to continue off through the top of the shot. Is that an artefact, or an illusion? Then I noticed the extra shot you attached at the end of the post - the string does go out of frame.

I just looked it up, and apparently that unexpected piece is called a "C extension" which gives the deepest string an extension into even deeper notes. I learned something new!

I've not seen that before. Thank you very much for including that extra shot.
