The Childrens Trust Schooner left Great Yarmouth today, and we just about made it in time to see her pass by the last part of the port to go out to sea. Sadly there was a heavy sea mist as she got the the harbour exit, and she vanished quickly, so no shots at sea, but I managed to grab a few as she approached. This was the best of them. The second version I ran through HDR filters in PS. The beam of light across the sky lining up with the old lighthouse was pure skill on my part (said Pinnochio)

Nice view, with the sun astern and enough breathing room in the frame to see all the masts and rigging clearly, well done.
Is it odd that I like the first pic more?

Thanks, not odd, that's the original. I like playing with HDR tonings on this kind of shot

Not a fan of HDR Tone Mapping.

No it's not great, certainly not in CC anyway. I used to have Nik Collection back in the days it was free, and that was awesome for it, and more so for mono.
