Venice with a Sony Xperia (Alpha Shooter in the making)

On June 2022 I traveled to Venice. At that time I took pictures with my Xperia 5 II. I shot raw and 70mm most of the time. I enjoyed walking through the canals of this beautiful city. And I started realizing that I might need a proper camera for my travels... But I wondered if there would a compact camera that I wouldn't mind carrying with me all day.

Also during this trip I did my first attempts at street photography, as I had fun trying to have people in frame for the first time (something I had avoided until then). Venice is famous for its tourism but I enjoyed seeing that there was people living there as well...

So these are some of the unedited pictures that I took while in Venice.

Thank you Tim! The setting is important too. Venice is very much the most beautiful city I've been to. Any corner was inspiring so it was hard not taking decent pictures there. I was in Venice for 6 days and took like 300 pictures per day, I had to carry a phone charger all day haha.

Nice Alex its 30years or so since I have been to Venice, good set I for the most beautiful city that is a difficult one, so many stunning cities, mine could be Seville, or maybe Florence the more I think about it I do not Know

Sevilla and Florence are both beautiful but Venice was so stunning and with such a particular, unique light at sunset.

Until then my favorites were Kyoto and Rome... Then Venice came in the way haha.

Rome is a place we visit a lot 3 times in the last 18 months, my son was there for a couple of nights a few days ago, before jumping on a cruise, he is heading your way in a couple of days
