Looking for a SONY A-850.

whats the interest in the 850

Lack of video and other "features" like smile detection, GPS and various other onboard crap that I don't need or want.

It also gets me into full frame without selling a kidney.

I bought one last week that wouldn't talk to any lenses and had to return it, but it pretty much checked all the boxes for what I want it for.

The only real complaints I read were weight/bulk and noise at high ISO, neither of which concern me.

Its like an AR15 or a Jeep. It does its main job very well without a bunch of added fluff.

Do you have any experience with them?
