Sold my A6700.
Originally put my A1 up for sale but didn't get any takers. So decided to keep that for now and let the 6700 go.
Have moved over to OM system to cover what the smaller Sony did plus some!

Where did you sell your A6700? Did you get a lot of interest?

I’ve ordered one of the new cheap Nanlite Pico lights, mostly out of curiosity - I doubt it will be very bright, but I’d like to try it out. It’s very cheap, but Nanlite stuff is well made

OM System has tempted me because of its waterproofing, but the lack of lens diversity and innovation by the parent company has held me back.
At least you kept the A1, so you're still in the Sony Family :)

My Mac mini M4pro arrived today, still getting set up, but played with one large tiff file in On1. I'm impressed at how smoothly and quickly it handled a file that caused my old pc a lot of problems

Test it with the AI No Noise tool and compare to your old computer, that tool is a resource hog.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same OM system when it comes to lens diversity and innovation.
I currently own and use 7-14 mm, 12-40 mm, 60 mm macro, 90 mm macro, 300 mm prime, 100 - 400 mm and given the crop factor of x 2 I can't think of another lens I need. All perform extremely well and having used Sony over a long period I think they compare well.
As far as innovation goes, OM1 mark 2 sets a benchmark that few others can match! With in camera focus stacking, Live ND filters in camera and many options with 'pre-capture' giving great resolution with high speed birds and wildlife.
Until you've used one and played around with it for a while It's hard to appreciate just how good these cameras are.

I bought a top of the line Olympus zoom compact for my wife about 20 years ago. It was recommended to me by an Olympus user in the club I was in. It was the most troublesome camera I have ever owned so it sort of put me off the brand.

Just tried it on a 900mb+ tiff file located on a portable usb-c external ssd. Not an ideal speed test, but I am still sorting myself out with the set-up of the new Mac so I didn't want to import any data files to the local drives. This file regularly crashed the old system, or if it didn't took minutes to do minor adjustments took under 30s to denoise, and instantly showed all other adjustments. Very happy with the results
