News What's the latest on the Sony A7v

I hope they make minimal changes, just rebrand the IV as a V, and charge lots of money….no no no, just kidding! I had the IV and it’s a GREAT camera. The only issue for me was 10fps shooting ice hockey. I was on the fence between treating myself to an a1ii or waiting for the V hopping it had 15+fps. I finally said hey, I’m 64 and always purchased just below the pro line camera, so why not just leave a little less money to my kids and get the a1ii. No regrets, but hoping the V will be something special too with all the bells and whistles we want.

Does anyone have any reliable news about the release date for the Sony A7v, expected costs and features? I've been waiting to hear about this for the last 6 months.
Speculative i guess it wil have improvements but sony like to keep sensors for 2 generations so maybe the pipeline will be better for faster read out ,better video options, the usual ai chip for subject detect ,better ibis ,hopefully a nice 4 way tilt screen ,and improved screen with better evf ,and 2 card slots cf type a and sd compatible ,not sure of much else on improvements a partially stacked sensor would be nice but comes with caveats ,although this is nikons and canons prefered choice on r6iii z6iii
