This little creature turned out to be very friendly and talkative.

When this little creature noticed me kneeling down to take its picture, it came trotting over to meet me. It was lovely to make a new acquaintance.

Another lucky day.


I was surprised to turn a corner on a path to see this cat strolling along. When it noticed me, it curled its tail and sauntered over.

It was collared and belled, with a GPS locator too.

I often see people walking their dogs on a leash on this path and have never seen a cat here. I have seen coyotes in this area, though.

It might have been a Balinese or Himalayan.

This is a new friend I met today.

This frisky adolescent cat spotted me in the distance.

It came bounding over.

After introductions, it kept pace with me for a couple of hundred metres. It stalked me, slinking in the underbrush and bursting into sight and running over for a head scratch.

Then it dashed away chasing invisible faeries. A delightful new friend.

Now, more cat than kitten, it trotted over to greet me.
