Wind turbines in fog from Steptoe Butte, Palouse, Washington

Went the the Palouse in Washington State in late November hoping to photograph snow in the region. No snow but a lot of hoar frost instead which was beautiful (images to come). We drove to the top of the famous Steptoe Butte mountain and managed to get the large wind turbines above the freezing fog at sunset. Despite the cold, there was an amazing amount of heat shimmer which you can see in the image.
