Did you take a photo that you really like in the last week? If so, please do share it here.

Also, if you'd like to challenge yourself you could post a photo each week for 52 weeks, yep that's a whole year! Just comment before your photo which week you are on.

This thread did start out life as a 52 week challenge, but after some discussions with members here renaming it simply to: "Photo of the Week" made more sense, but leaving the option for members to continue or start fresh with a personal 52 week challenge if desired.

A big thank you to everyone who contributes here! :)

This one might be much better for me! I'm out most weekends. Week 1. Stonechat at Seaford Head today.

I'm going to start at the absolute beginning.
Week 0, New Years Eve, watching the sunset and escorting 2020 out of the establishment 😅

Week 1/52: Scotch Bonnet Peppers. These little bundles of heat are named after their oft resemblance to the Scottish Tam (ie: tam/hat/bonnet) as you'll see in my overexposed first pic. Side note, I suck at using the little flash that comes with the a6400. The second picture shows the vibrant orange that my variety gets to when ripe, though these peppers can also be red or yellow when ripe.

I'm a little late but I'm delighted to see this challenge!!! I have already begun my 2021 52 Weeks challenge, so will pop in an image from the first week and will probably add an image each week on Sundays, as that is when I usually finish up the week and review what I've shot.

Week 1:

I do see the character haha! Also, what a nice, bokeh-licious picture!

I wasn't going to join this challenge since I'm attempting the 365 day challenge (now closed due to lack of interest), but I guess it doesn't hurt to post in this one too!

Week 1. Josh wrapped up warm.

Week 3! Just about managed to get some shots in this week by going to the local pond in the nice sunny weather today. Worth the trip, as the Continental (Sinensis) Cormorant has come into to breeding plumage and looks magnificent.

Gosh, here I am already in the middle of Week 3 and I forgot to post an image from Week 2!

Posting early for a change. Took this while making thumbnails for this weekend's video. I don't love it, but its what I got to work with this week
Week 3/52 - Dinner - Jerk Pork with Rice & Peas (tastes way better than it looks!)

Week 3 completed now:

The resident female Kingfisher paid another visit! This time she obligingly posed for me on top of one of the posts on the pier:

Week 5/52: I have seen this panning technique before and wanted to try my hand at it. So this was taken (freehand) last time I was at the beach. I don't think I quite have the hang of it yet...

I'm keen to get some feedback from you knowledgeable folks :)

Week 4. Brought some things to our son at school and stumbled on this. Wish I’d had the A7C with me. 🙁
