Nice and sharp with that TC.
Thanks I have had the tc for a couple of years and not really used it much so the last couple of weeks I have given it a work out and it seems ok in decent light even when some of the iso numbers are getting high (y)

cool images, I think you may have pushed me into keeping my little used TC1.4, 70-200 and 200-600 and selling the 100-400,
As previous reply I have not used it much but think for sure on the 200-600 it works well even when the iso is quite , so far I have used it a couple of times on the 100-400 and noted some issues which I hope to work around

Aga a nice set of images, the first three are a great catch. For a spider to catch and keep a dragonfly is something. That lens works well with th tc and is so versatile.

Yes, agreed - I like the 1.4x on the 200-600mm.
Never really liked my 100-400mm, it gathers dust until I have to go on a 'big wildlife' holiday (as in elephants) then the 200-600mm plus 1.4x is a bit OTT!

I sold my 1.4. Great when light is perfect, dreadful when it's not. That said, I was using it on the A7RIV, which shows every flaw due to the resolution, it was a very noticeable drop in IQ

yes Kev I have had differing results with the 100-400 and 1.4 tc it shows a fair bit of vignetting so far in testing at times, and yes the light needs to be good which is often not the case here in the UK
