Meet Ups

Daft question to all members...
Does anyone do meet up's ??, to meeting other members with Sony cameras (or whatever you shot with), a day/night/both, and if you can travel then maybe a night away... ??
Personally I always find it better, and easier meeting others with the same type of camera to get any help and show you the answer to any questions you ask...
As I say it's just a question I would personally love to meet up....

There's quite a few members in the UK, but haven't seen anyone organize a meet yet.
On this side of the pond, the members are very spread out, so unless we decided to do our own recreation of Sony Kando, I don't see it happening.

Its a pity, because I'd like to meet up with other Sony users, but at this rate it probably won't be with members of this forum.

I tried before. In Spain. One couple turned up, we arranged the dates around a long term member from another continent. He failed to turn up and was later banned for an unrelated incident.

I have met up with another member on here, we had a pleasant afternoon on the Norfolk coast.

I also accepted an invite to visit Florida at some point in the future. I'd like to do this once a certain high profile personality over there has served his term.

I'm all for a meet up, practically anywhere. I'm retired along with my wife and we love to travel.

That's for that, maybe it's time that we could sort something out if anyone would be interested in meeting up I would like you love to meet up with members even traveling a few miles to meet up a central place ??? I wonder if anyone else would fancy it ???
