I actually got these back on the 5-4-2022 in my home area of Mildura in Northwest Victoria.
These are a very community bird where the last years chicks help raise and feed the new chicks.
On our way home from Melbourne today we seen groups of up to 20 birds which is the most I
have personally seen.

I had to google it to see why its called "white-wing" when it looks like a black bird to me. Interesting bird.

I found a shot that shows why these are called White-wings but it isn't the best shot but is does show why it got the name.

Ah yes, I see it now, thanks Ralph. We have a similarly named dove in Jamaica, "white-winged dove", and its a similar story: the white is most apparent when the wings are open.
