Since i got this, I've been testing this vintage glass in the garden. (135mm,f /2.8, hoya).
Since my A7 mk1 has no IBIS, I found that this lens needs pretty high shutter speeds and some care to give of its best.
I took it out in to use in the real world a few times in the last week. I usually use it in AV mode, and set the ISO higher than normal (ie 400 -800) so that the shutter speed stays high.

I really love this focal length for portraits! It lets you take shots from far enough away that your friends forget that you're there :)

They may not forgive me for this one taken at a small legally distanced craft group get together ( titled the 3 witches)
