Hey everyone, I need some honest advice.
I recently returned my A6700 and got the A7C II. My main use case is talking head YouTube videos (mostly indoors, softbox lighting, seated at desk with hands visible). I shoot in 4K30, want clean skin tones, natural colors, and decent background blur — but I don’t do any post work. Just want great straight-out-of-camera results.
Here’s a screenshot of what I was getting on the A6700 with Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 that I really liked — vibe-wise it looked warm, natural, and clean.
Now with the A7C II and Sigma 24mm (and also tried 16–28mm), noise is better controlled.
So question is:
Thanks!

So question is:
- See the noise in the screen cap based on A6700 4k30 shot (linked image)? Is it possible to reduce the noise without changing the overall dark and moody vibe of the scene?
- Is the A7C II really worth it over the A6700 just for this type of work? I can afford the A7C II, but if the real-world benefit is minimal for my actual use, I’d rather put that money toward a good teleprompter.
Thanks!
