I never tire of the colonnades at the ORNC in Greenwich, their architectural simplicity belies their beauty and I love the way they play with light.
Which do you prefer black and white or colour? I really like the cropped black and white, I particularly like the most severe crop. Check out the reflection in the lamp - that's the iron railing of the boundary fence you can see.

Those last two shots are excellent examples of abstract photography!
 
I love b/w and these are no exception to my delight at them.

Thanks Gaz, I'm with you, I think B+W does this setting proud. But I do like the warmth of the colour image. The light was amazing and really did lift the colour of the stone. I love the way the shadows play out on the floor of the cloister. It's like shadows from the past reaching out to the future.
