This belongs to my neighbor, just on the other side of our fence. As I am cursed with the dreaded 'Black Thumb of Death' when it comes to gardening, I live in great awe of those who can nourish and encourage such beauty to flourish!

I have several Daylilies. They are bomb-proof. They prefer damp soil (hence the alternative name of Ditchweed) but are very drought tolerant, and grow in any kind of soil. The only thing they don't like is full shade.

My apologies, Alan. Somehow I missed your reply.

Sadly, bomb-proof is not 'Craig-proof'... :eek:

My Mom's side of the family has the greenest of thumbs and have had a variety of daylilies which we have enjoyed over the years. Perhaps when I retire and have more time for gardening, I'll give it another go.
