So Sigma announced multiple lenses, including the 135mm f/1.4

OM Systems has announced a Pro tele-zoom

Tamron is announcing their 25-200mm

Fuji is announcing a power zoom cinema lens

Nikon and Canon both announcing FX3 competitors

And I'm sure I've left out others

Normally a cluster of announcements like this coincides with some trade show. But I haven't heard a mention of one. About the only thing these coincide with is the launch of the iPhone 17 range. Maybe that's it? The iPhone 17 is proclaimed to have a bunch of cinema features. Maybe the thinking was "release our cinema features while Apple is talking up theirs?"

Its true, there has been such a flurry of new releases we didn't even bother posting threads about the rumors
