I have some ferns in front of my house which may make for some good focus bracketing practice in the near future, so I'll revisit this thread and add more as time goes on. today just some single exposures of a unfurling branch that caught my eye.

Does your new 50-300mm have a macro mode?

This would be a great subject to try focus stacking...

It can't do 1:1, I think it only does 1:2 unfortunately, so mostly good for dragonflies and butterflies. Maybe worth a try here.
