News Firmware 6.0 form Sony A7 IV errors

Since I updated my Sony A7 IV to the last firmware I noticed that it was being restarted randomly and today I saw this (it is in Spanish) that there are some errors with some users with this new firmware

Apparently the reel said that the new firmware is “hurting” peoples cameras

Sony has apparently withdrawn this version.

As you can imagine, the troll types are having a field day...

Someone suggested that there was a previous firmware update for the A7IV that failed - I don't know.

Yes, there have been quite a few people having problems with the firmware. There's new firmware for my camera also. I haven't heard of any problems with it but I always wait a week or two before updating. Let the early adopters do the trouble shooting.

I guess Sony decided to downsize their firmware testing team! Or perhaps I should say expand it to all A7 IV Shooters! Hopefully they sort it quickly.

I had zero issues with the recent V4 updates to the A9 III and A1 II. They seemed easy to install and completely trouble free.

Maybe most of the testers were working testing the A7V, and they had just the B team working on the A7IV update?
