I just bought my first Sony camera on January 3rd - an A7C from B&H Photo. Got it in the mail on Tuesday, and have been familiarizing myself with the camera and getting some things set up. The autofocus on this camera is amazing. I read a lot of reviews of different Sony cameras before finally buying this one. I love the size of the camera - it reminds me of the Panasonic GX8 I owned a number of years ago but obviously is a huge step up. So far I just have the 28-60 kit lens that came with the camera, but am looking at what to get for a second lens. Most of my photography is travel, family and landscape - I think this camera will be perfect for that.
My wife and I live in the Twin Cities in Minnesota.

Welcome! I agree, good choice on camera body, almost as compact as the APSC models.
