Hobby flying pretty fast so pleased this was almost sharp.

I suspect NESP (Not Enough Subject Pixels) syndrome- a common ailment with my BIFs...also 1/3200 might have been better

Thanks Kev. Just been perusing the web. Apparently the hobby is the 4th fastest diving bird of prey after the peregrine, golden eagle and gyrfalcon. However all credit to the Sony A7r4, I just pointed it in the right direction and crossed my fingers...😁

Yeah, they aren't easy. I've succeeded a couple of times.

Usually they don't come close enough, mostly high in the sky and I have a lot of discarded fuzzy blurs. But this one was hunting dragonflies at the edges of the reeds I guess. Pure luck on my part, pure technogenius on the part of the A7R4.
