Hotshoe cover and shutter button

Hi all
Benn looking on flea bay at these hot shoe covers and shutter button like the idea of the shutter button as i have fingers like sausages and thought it would make it
easier to for me to push the button ..Is it easy to change the button on the camera or should I just dismiss the idea ..Camera A911

Some of the buttons just stick on top.

Some are designed to screw in - those ones are for old cameras which took a screw-in remote shutter cable (some Lecas had that, for example).

I don't know if any are designed to require taking the camera apart.

As David suggested, it would help if you posted some links of what you are considering.

As for the hot shoe cover - be careful - a generic hot shoe insert might not work well with the contacts at the front edge of the home shoe - that's where a flash or microphone makes digital contact with the camera. Or do you mean one of those rubber things that wraps around the hot shoe mount?

If you type in camera shutter button on ebay they come up .. Hope this helps
