As mentioned in this thread https://www.alphashooters.com/community/threads/sony-scene-tradeshow-2025.10589/#post-70142 I went on a Sony sponsored night walk last night, in the pouring rain, to photograph some of the Illuminate Adelaide installations on North Terrace. It was raining pretty heavily all day yesterday, which is very rare here and then it continued on into the night intermittently. We got enough breaks in the weather to gat a few shots and the weather kept the crowds away but we only got about halfway along so I may go back on another night. The Sony guy had a bit of gear we could try. He didn't have an A1II unfortunately. I did get to try the 14mm f1.8 which I was actually very impressed with. I gave the IBIS of the A7R5 a good workout. Here are a few shots. They have only been quickly edited.

Really like the last rainfall pic!

Not sure what is going on with that 3rd image but I like it.

The rainfall pick took a few goes at getting a shutter speed to give the right effect. The light is coming from one of the projectors lighting up the front of the Art Gallery.

The third shot with the tree is actually two photos stacked in Photoshop, one where I zoomed the lens during the exposure. I got a shot where I managed to hold the camera more still so the lines are straighter but I prefer this one.

I'll post up a few more later.

So, I guess this is later. Over two weeks later. Here are some more pics from the photo walk that I have been working on.
