It's gonna be hot this summer

Thanks for the add to the group! I'm from southern Arizona, and shoot wildlife, landscapes and odd things that catch my eye! I shoot with an a7ii, and a newly acquired a7Rii. Sigma 150-600 for wildlife, and 2 Tamron lenses, a 17-28mm, and a 28-200.

Arizona eh? I reckon that's probably the hottest place in the US isn't it?

It is! Although up near Flagstaff, they get lots of snow in the winter...close to half of the state is mountainous, and many with radically cooler temps in summer. I went tp Mt Graham, at 10,040 ft and it was 72F...but 114 in the desert below. Some of these mountain chains are called "Sky Islands". I live in the hottetst pasrt of Az, just 75 miles from the Mexican border.

Wow, but I guess the tradeoff is you have a variety of landscape to shoot! Here in FL its a humid heat and just flat land or beaches to photograph.
