Just one capture of a dead ladybug.
Been practicing with the Laowa 100mm 2.8 2x macro.. it’s quite a steep learning curve and I’m not convinced with it yet, but I’ll keep trying..

Stupid question probably. But that Laowa lens will magnify two times as much as the Sony or my Sigma, is that correct mate?

Not a stupid question at all..
Yes it will magnify 2x where the Sony and Sigma is 1x.
Here’s something to look into.. it’s called reverse lens macro.. where you attach a lens back to front .. all you need is a reverse adapter ( Amazon sell them) for like $20. I use a old Nikon 18-55mm on my Sony camera..
Just google reverse lens macro..
