Hello,

Thank you for accepting me into the community.
I have been working for 20 years in video for French channels, mainly in documentaries.
I use the sony ALPHA 7 III with a gimball.
I just bought the sony ALPHA 7 IV. I just received it and the NTSC/PAL selector is missing from the menu. This poses a problem for filming in France. I can't get to 50fps.
Does anyone have a solution? Hack the firmware? Change firmware?

On your menu, select the very bottom menu
Next , Page 1 is Are/Date, select or highlight that item
On the Area/Date item, there are 3 choices. The 3rd one should be NTSC/PAL Selector

Nor do I. Sorry for your frustration. In the US, we have a free phone number to call Sony. Do you have that?

Welcome Nony and thank you for joining up here. That's strange that the NTSC/PAL Selector is missing, it should be there. Which firmware are you running? There's the possibility that a setting could prevent it from displaying. It might be worth resetting the camera to the factory defaults.
