So on a whim, I decided to have a play with an old Minolta 50mm lens on the new camera. The dogs for once, tolerated me fiddling around. Both shots taken at f4

I used to have that lens on my Minolta film set up. Fabulous lens.

That's where I got this lens, it was on a Minolta I owned in the mid 80's. When I started using Sony with the A6000 I bought a mount converter, and tried it out, to very pleasing results. So as I was playing with the new camera body, I decided to give it a try, it still holds up after 40+ years.

Good glass is always good really. Coatings have changed, but the Minolta lenses are always so vibrant.

I only have two MD lenses that are worth a pooh. I leave the adapter on my 58/1.2. I have a couple more but not worth messing around with.
